What is Baby Yoga or Infant Yoga and Soft Stretching?

Baby Yoga and Soft Stretching uses poses and positions to help to provide flexibility, beneficial stretching, improve muscle tone, co-ordination, postural control and body awareness.

You don´t need to have practised yoga before. The sessions are very gentle and strong stretches are avoided, as your ligaments are likely to be softer than usual since your pregnancy.

These yoga inspired sessions provide a low impact workout for both Mum and Baby, including some gentle postnatal exercises for Mum.

There will be a mixture of dry massage, passive soft stretching, active play in the form of swings, dips and flying, balances, action songs, tummy time which helps to strengthen Baby´s neck muscles to prepare them for crawling and ending with relaxation for both parent and baby.
